15 Stunning Photos Of The Ford GT Carbon Series

15 Stunning Photos Of The Ford GT Carbon Series

In October 2018, the Ford GT Carbon series was introduced to the world at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA). Compared to the Competition model, it is 30 pounds lighter, and although it is also one that is meant to be taken on the track, it still features air conditioning and radio, which aren’t available in the Competition Series.

The most appealing thing about this car, though, has to be its awesome design. It’s an extremely limited car, with only 1,350 produced in total. So, if you ever see one on the road, consider yourself a lucky chap.

Today, we have decided to bless you with some eye candy as we have compiled a list of 15 beautiful photos of the GT Carbon Series in different environments. You will see it on the track, in the wild, and even being delivered to a lucky customer! We hope you enjoy it!

Nevertheless, the Le Mans-winning car loves to race, and it comes with things such as paddle-shifters and a steering wheel built for top performance. Also, isn’t that body kit simply awesome?

Doesn’t this car look so intimidating on the track, with its dual exhaust, spoiler, and engine visible through the glass cover? This photo is seriously making us want to take it out for a spin. Also, doesn’t it seriously remind you of a Ferrari? Well, that’s no surprise considering the two automakers' histories in racing competitions.

6. Wings Flapping

We’ve now seen many photos of this monster, but none with its scissor doors up – a great feature of this super car. Can you imagine making a grand entrance by getting out of a car with doors like that? If you don’t like being the center of attention, perhaps the Ford GT Carbon series isn’t the right choice for you.

This photo was taken as part of a photo shoot by La Exotics. After seeing the Ford GT Carbon Series’ multiple colorways, our favorite is the Lightning Blue, and it's no surprise that it is the most popular choice out there. The blue actually looks different depending on the lighting and angle, as you will see in other photos of the same shoot.

4. Dual Exhaust

This photo was taken as part of the same photo shoot in Los Angeles, and if you look closely, you will realize that the paint looks very different in sunlight. It comes equipped with a titanium exhaust system, which is also available as an option on the standard Ford GT.

3. SEMA 2018

This photo was taken at the unveiling at SEMA 2018, which we have discussed earlier. Are you a fan of this colorway? For us, we prefer our super cars a little flashier, and we much prefer the flashy lightning blue on this awesome sports car. However, we like this photo as it shows off the metallic grey paint in a well-lit environment.

2. Bird’s-Eye View

Every time we see this car from a different angle, we fall in love with it a little more. If only it was a little more accessible. Everything about this car screams power, and when it comes to performance, it’s far from lacking, with the ability to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 2.9 seconds.

The Ford GT Carbon Series packs the same 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 power plant you will find in your normal Ford GT. This power plant is good for 647 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque and it is attached to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This is a stunning photo of exactly where you will find the engine.
