Zhongwu Park": Golden Autumn Rice Field Park next to the Summer Palace
Zhongwu Park, the starting point of Beijing's western suburbs sightseeing route, is a niche hitting spot next to the Summer Palace. Unlike traditional city parks, Zhongwu Park is a fun country park with an idyllic landscape of lakes, hills, and layers of terraced fields, allowing people to experience the relaxation and tranquility of returning to nature.
The seasonal view of the rice fields turns golden around the middle of October, and the rustling sound of the wind blowing the rice ears makes it look like a richly colored painting from afar.
The park also has attractions such as Guantian Terrace, Lotus Wind Bridge, Late Autumn Pavilion and Cherry Orchard. Avoid the crowds and find a nice day to experience the romantic autumn of Beijing here.

Jingshan Park: The imperial gardens of the Ming and Qing dynasties overlooking the Forbidden City
One of the must-do things in Beijing in autumn must be to go to Jingshan to climb high. Situated on the central axis of Beijing in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the highest point, Wanchun Pavilion, offers a panoramic view of the entire Forbidden City and a glimpse of the divine charm and grandeur of the palace layout.
Once used as an imperial garden during the Ming and Qing dynasties, Jingshan Park blends natural scenery with humanistic sentiments, with a strong historical flavor and an open view, where you can feel the intersection of the ancient and the modern.
The garden is full of ancient trees and flowers, and when you look up, you can see the whole lush pine and cypress, which are all verdant against the blue sky.

With a history of more than 600 years, the East King's Edge Temple was once used as part of the Jiju Temple. The original building was severely damaged during the changes of the times, and it took up to five years of restoration to revive it.
The restored Jizhu Temple, a model of monument conservation in the Asia-Pacific region, is full of cultural atmosphere. The ancient architecture is blended with artistic and cultural activities, and you can see exhibitions, have afternoon tea, and perform yoga and other experiences.
The most recommended is to come here to see a different kind of sunset, ranked more than Picasso artist, James Turrell James Turrell, the only permanent art installation in China, you can use the most comfortable position, lying down to watch the sunset.

"White Pagoda Temple": 750-year-old Yuan Dynasty Pagoda
The White Pagoda Temple, an important part of Beijing's urban memory, is the oldest and largest surviving lamasery in China, with a history of 750 years.
After two years of restoration, the White Pagoda Temple reopened in June 2021, preserving the maximum amount of historical information about the building itself, and also featuring historical and cultural exhibitions on related topics, all of which are well worth seeing.
The blue sky contrasts strongly with the White Pagoda. Whether on the terrace, inside the temple, or in the surrounding hutongs, you can take a blockbuster shot, and now there are night tours of the White Pagoda Temple, which also have a different atmosphere when the lights are on.

Willow Park": free park in the third ring, enjoy autumn on the lake island
Willow Park is the only mountain village wilderness park with idyllic scenery in Beijing, surrounded by water on three sides and greenery, and its symbol is the evergreen willow trees of more than 30 species.
Because it is free and relatively niche, Willow Park has become a great place for neighborhood residents to walk around. There is also a lake-centered island with a coffee shop called "Three Forgotten Lakes", with rustic wooden tables and chairs and wild ducks by the lake, which is also a unique view.
In early autumn in Beijing, the remnants of the lotus in the lake swoop down into the water, and the willow leaves rustle along with the autumn breeze. Find a nice day to stroll around the park in the warm sun and experience a different kind of Beijing autumn.
