While most of us are looking for Halloween or Christmas-themed homewares, B&M Bargains is once again cashing in on the hype of unicorns. Those horned horses clearly aren’t going anywhere as everything from Unicorn Frappuccinos, Unicorn gin, and Unicorn Turkey Dinosaurs continue to invade our lives.
If you’ve you’ve had enough of seeing an influx of unicorn products, this one probably isn’t for you, however, B&M’s latest offering puts a twist on the saturated unicorn market as the bargain high street store rolls out glow in the dark unicorn bedding.
Even though I remember growing up and sticking glow in the dark stars to my ceiling, things appear to have moved with the times in 2019.
For little kids and big kids alike, B&M‘s glow in the dark unicorn bedding is also reversible. Costing just £15, the site explains: “Make bedtime a magical time for children with this cosy faux fur duvet set.
“Wool-like, sherpa fabric offers a luxuriously soft feel while the duvet’s reverse features fleece material, keeping kids warm and snug on chilly nights.”
If unicorns aren’t your thing, there’s a star-covered fleecy throw that also glows in the dark. The throw comes in either 100 cm by 150cm or 200 cm by 220cm. Finally, you can snuggle up with glow in the dark unicorn rugs and cushions for just £5.99.
Unicorn bedding is definitely adorable, but does it compare to Dunelm Mill’s range of sloth homeware? Everyone’s loving it online, so it looks like it could be the new ‘unicorn craze’.
The range — including duvet covers, doorstops, mugs, and pretty much EVERYTHING — starts at just £2.50 and goes up to £55 for those of you who fancy splashing a bit more cash.
It could be that you just want a little bit of sloth in your bedroom, or maybe you want it decorated top to bottom with the slow mammal.
