The job of a stunt double is twofold: perform death defying stunts on the movie set to keep the A-list actor safe from harm; resemble that actor as closely as possible. Below, you will see athletic stunt doubles that look so similar to their onscreen counterparts that you will think they should maybe try their own hands at acting.
Dwayne Johnson, or The Rock, as you still likely know him as, is one of the largest men in Hollywood, and got his breakout by being a wrestler in the WWE.
However, even this gigantic man of burly muscle has to take a backseat for some of the stunts his characters perform on film. You'll be surprised that they not only found a man as large as him, but one who looks eerily similar.
It's not always the craziest action flicks that require a stunt person either. Look below and you'll see the gorgeous, Reese Witherspoon, alongside her stunt double who filled in for her on the set of the TV show/mini series, Big Little Lies.
Putting together a film production takes an army of people both in front and behind the camera. Sometimes it takes an army of people just to portray one character, as was the case on Cop Out, which starred Bruce Willis and his myriad of stunt men you'll see near the end of the list.
