As the weather warms up, and summer approaches, people are starting to put the tops down on their convertibles and go for slow and long rides. This strikes envy in the hearts of some, and folks who have no business owning a convertible are trying to get in on the action. What you'll see in this article are cars that were converted into convertibles that never should have been, or convertible cars that were mistreated so poorly they'll hurt your eyes.
A guy has a four door sedan, but he always wanted a convertible. Fortunately, he's in luck, and the roof of his old car is starting to rust. Does this mean he's going to buy a new car and this time get it right with one that the top comes off? No.
Instead, he just cut off the top of the car, and kept the sides as they were. This left an effect that looked like when a man starts balding and just leaves the sides to grow out.
Then you have the minivan which doubles as a convertible. Somebody wanted one so bad that they made alterations on a 90s minivan so that the top can come down, but all they did was create a giant eyesore.
