I Ching: A person, who is at peace, will naturally become smoother and smoother

The Book of Changes (I Ching) is a book that values the middle and the righteous.

How to take the essence of Yi and apply it to real life requires practice and perception.

In this article, we share a piece of mind that practices the national philosophy of the I Ching: He who is at peace with himself is easy to take the world. A person, with a peaceful mind, will naturally become smoother and smoother.

I Ching: A person, who is at peace, will naturally become smoother and smoother

1. If yin and yang are balanced, the mind is at peace.

If we imagine the Yin and Yang poles of the I Ching as a seesaw, with Yang at one end and Yin at the other, the two are mutually transforming.

Understanding the relationship between yin and yang, you can naturally understand what Zhuangzi says: "If the sage does not die, the great thief does not stop."

The sage is the yang, the thief is the yin, the two are symbiotic polar relationship, want the thief to stop, then correspondingly, the sage must also rest.

It is not good to go to extremes in everything.

Joy and sorrow, as Chinese medicine says, great joy and great sorrow, are hurt.

The best state is the one that is just right. And just right is the neutral state where yin and yang are in balance.

I Ching: A person, who is at peace, will naturally become smoother and smoother

A person, who has adjusted his inner energy, to the balance of yin and yang, then his outer manifestation is peace of mind.

If a person is overly worried, often insomnia, that is the yin and yang; and hot temper, irritable, that is the yang and yin; if both, that is the yin and yang imbalance, long time is sick.

We can look back at our own state.

If the energy of yin is excessive, then think less and act to stimulate the energy of yang; if the energy of yang is excessive, then be still and be quiet to nourish yin.

When the energy is balanced, the mind is balanced.

A person, with a peaceful mind, doing everything with patience, persistence and perseverance, will naturally become smoother and smoother.

2、In can attack and retreat, not leaving it.

One thing to note is that the balance of yin and yang is not static, but dynamic.

It's not that every day is busy at work and there are a bunch of chores to do after work and no time to clear the air. My practical insight is.

Absolute stillness and movement do not exist. All human life, there is stillness in movement and movement in stillness.

For example.

I sweep the floor, chop the vegetables, cook, do the laundry, all these are moving.

In the process of moving, I collect my thoughts and remain in the present moment, free of thoughts and worries, which is a kind of fixed meditation.

When the body moves and the mind is quiet, the mind is quiet.

I Ching: A person, who is at peace, will naturally become smoother and smoother

Instead, I was physically still when I was reading and writing. In the past, I would prepare a bag of bread and a bottle of water, and when the bookstore opened at 9 a.m., I would go in and find a spot to read until 7 p.m. or so, and then come out. During this whole day, except for going to the bathroom and standing up to change the book to read, my body basically did not move, but my consciousness dived into the ocean of books, already traveled thousands of years up and down, and traveled to the universe without direction.

This is movement in stillness.

When you let go of subjective thoughts and let nature take its course. You will find that the stillness and movement, which is natural, does not need you to control it, it will run by itself. This is the power of law.

Quiet to the extreme, it will naturally move slowly; moving to the extreme, it will slowly quiet down again.

You just need to observe and go with the natural rhythm.

When you enter this state, you will get a kind of freedom, you can enter the attack, retreat, whatever you do, you have a clear mind, it is difficult for others to pinpoint and control you.

Difficulties can't press you, success can't circle you, glory and shame are not surprised, gain or loss at will.

3、The one who is calm and peaceful is easy to take the world.

The human potential, is unlimited.

Nowadays, people often feel trapped because their minds are sealed.

The human mind, like the valve of a faucet, is usually locked, so that one is cut off from the universal energy and cannot realize its potential.

And opening the potential requires opening the valves of the mind, which are our cognitive blind spots.

I Ching: A person, who is at peace, will naturally become smoother and smoother

The only effective way to open the cognitive blind spot is to keep a peaceful mind, without self-view, self-righteousness, self-victimization and self-respect.

As Laozi's "Tao Te Ching" says, "Do not see yourself, so clear; do not be, so manifest; do not attack yourself, so have merit; do not reserve yourself, so long."

When you keep in this state of mind, the quantitative change slowly becomes qualitative change, your cognition will undergo a radical metamorphosis, jumping out of the original inherent cognition, and the infinite energy of the universe, naturally connected. Therefore, those who are at peace with themselves will easily win the world.
