Southwest Zhejiang is not quite the same as the familiar Zhejiang, and the place we are going to talk about today is hidden here.
It is like the Peach Blossom Garden in Tao Gong's writing, hidden in a wonderful place that "actually exists but seems not to exist", waiting to amaze the world.
This is Qingyuan, Zhejiang Province.
Qingyuan, located in the southwest of Zhejiang, is a blessed place named after the emperor's year, "Qing" meaning "beautiful" and "Yuan" meaning "beginning".
It is the farthest county in the province from the provincial capital, surrounded by Fujian on three sides, only one side facing the province, it is located high on the "roof of Zhejiang" - Donggong Mountain Range, the independence of the world will slowly no one asked.
So few people know that it has been ranked first in the country for 17 consecutive years since 2004, and is truly the "No. 1 county in China in terms of ecological environment".
Qingyuan, which belongs to Lishui, Zhejiang Province, is located at the junction of Zhejiang and Fujian, and is a mountainous area in the southwest of Zhejiang Province, with various landforms such as streams and valleys, basins, hills, low mountains and mesas.
Take a look at the topographical map of Qingyuan and you will see that it is almost a hidden city hidden in the mountains and forests.
The north-south Donggong Mountain Range and the east-west Xianxia Ridge encounter each other here, and the first peak of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Huangmaojian, with an altitude of 1,929 meters, and the second peak of Baisanzu, with an altitude of 1,856 meters, are located nearby.
The rolling hills, blocking out the noise of the mortal world, make such a rare and pure land. You can hardly imagine that in the highly developed economy of Zhejiang, there is such a "green, rich and beautiful" area with 86% forest coverage.
Almost every Qingyuan person has climbed Baisanzu (a national 4A-level tourist attraction). It is named after the saying of the ancestor of a hundred mountains, and among the large and small mountains around Qingyuan, this mountain is the most popular.
Wrapped in the pale mountains and forests and nourished by countless streams and waterfalls, it is quiet and sheltered, silently nurturing the rare flora and fauna living here and preserving the most primitive purity of nature. And the magnificent sea of clouds on top of the mountain is breathtaking.
The western part of the Fengzi Peak, 1,563 meters above sea level, has the appearance of two sister peaks standing side by side, like sharp halberds thrust into the clouds, so it is named Fengzi Peak with the intention of women heroes.
The "Five Wonders of the Sky" are called the "Five Wonders of the Sky" at Turban Peak, and people can't help but admire the beauty of nature when they are lucky enough to capture any of them.
Since ancient times, mountains and water are not separated from each other. Although Qingyuan does not have a big river, more than 926 streams of all sizes in the county have brought honor to Qingyuan while nourishing it.
In the first quarter of 2019, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment released the ranking of water quality of national surface water assessment sections in cities at the prefecture level and above, the "small stream" originating from the northern foot of Baisanzu in Qingyuan County ranked sixth in the country.
In Qingyuan, where there are mountains, there are streams, and where there are streams, there are corridor bridges.
Corridor bridges, also known as rainbow bridges, have a history of over 2,000 years in China and were prevalent in the Northern Song Dynasty. Among all types of corridor bridges, the wooden arch corridor bridge is the most complex in terms of construction techniques, which is built without using a single nail or rivet, relying on rafters and trusses to be closely connected.
Qingyuan, with nearly 100 ancient corridor bridges preserved, is the county with the largest number of corridor bridges in the country, including 21 wooden-arch corridor bridges.
Qingyuan porch bridge and a number of "the most": the earliest written time (Shuangmen Bridge, Putian Bridge), the highest level of protection (such as the Dragon Bridge), the largest single-hole span (Lanxi Bridge), the longest single-hole porch house (Huangshui Long Bridge), the most coherent Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
Located in the southeastern part of Qingyuan, Yue Shan Village is the most densely distributed village of ancient corridor bridges in the country, known as "two miles and ten bridges", is the country's rare corridor bridge township. There were 10 corridor bridges in ancient times here, five of them still exist, named Ru Long, Laifeng, Baiyun, Bu Buqan, and Straw Hang.
The country's earliest historical records of the wooden arched corridor bridge Shuangmen Bridge and Putian Bridge, located 2.5 kilometers away from the county Daji village, they appeared more than 100 years earlier than the "Qingming River on the map". In addition, Daji village is also known as the "scholar village", the history of the village less than 300 people, in 230 years, one after another, 26 scholars.
In ancient times in Qingyuan, where there is a corridor bridge, there must be a temple, and where there is a temple, there must be a mushroom god.
About 800 years ago, a young man in Qingyuan discovered that mushrooms would emerge from the bark layer of fallen broadleaf trees during charcoal burning and wild mushroom collection, and after many trials, he successfully cultivated the world's first artificial shiitake mushrooms, making Qingyuan the birthplace of shiitake cultivation technology in the world. This man, named Wu Sanguong, is revered by the mushroom people as the "mushroom god".
Since then, Qingyuan has seen an unprecedented boom in the mushroom industry. According to the legend, many of the existing corridor bridges in Qingyuan are closely related to the prosperity of mushroom industry and were built by mushroom people, mushroom merchants, and officials who returned to their hometowns to repay their hometowns or to show their wealth.
Today, Qingyuan's mushroom industry is as glorious as before, with an annual production of about 10,000 tons of dried mushrooms, making it the largest mushroom production and wholesale distribution center in China.
There is a temple called Xiyangdian in Xiyangsiang Village, Five Great Fort Township, Qingyuan County, at the head of Lanxi Bridge in Ming Dynasty, where the main deity is Wu San Gong, so it is also called "Mushroom God Temple". Every July 16 to 19 of the lunar calendar is the "incense period" of Xiyangdian Temple, where mushroom people of Qingyuan from ten miles and eight villages come to gather for worship, perform mushroom plays, play mushroom fist and sing mushroom folk songs.
Today, the Xiyangteng Temple still conducts lively temple plays, and with bursts of laughter, people seem to travel back in time.
Just like the legendary heaven and earth, "a day in heaven and a year on earth", probably time is not spared to pass by in a hurry in Qingyuan.
Therefore, it just quietly counted in the mountains, waiting, not to be happy with things, not to be sad.
