Katie Holmes has found the perfect “top” to take her from summer to fall.
The newly single actress, who recently split from longtime boyfriend Jamie Foxx, spent Tuesday shopping in Soho, and demonstrated the definition of transitional (and daring!) dressing in a cashmere bra under a barely-buttoned sweater.
For her afternoon out with her 13-year-old daughter Suri Cruise, the “Dawson’s Creek” star wore the $520 taupe cashmere “Eda” bralette from Khaite’s pre-fall 2019 collection layered under the matching $1,540 “Scarlet” cardigan from the same brand.
She paired the lightweight knitwear with blue jeans, Acne Studios black mules ($480), black Westward Leaning “Moore 03” sunglasses ($235), dainty gold jewelry and a black shoulder bag.
Earlier this month, Page Six exclusively revealed that Holmes had split with Foxx, her boyfriend of six years.
The pair broke up in late May after their buzzy first red-carpet appearance at the Met Gala.
