How much do you know about Marie Osmond‘s life as a mom? The 59-year-old singer has eight kids — three biological and five adopted children — and she couldn’t love her big family any more!
Marie welcomed her first child, son Stephen James Craig, with hubby Stephen Lyle Craig in 1983. After the “A Little Bit Country, a Little Bit Rock ‘n’ Roll” songstress and her first husband divorced in 1985, Marie tied the knot with Brian Blosil in 1986.
She later gave birth to two biological children with Brian, daughter Rachael and son Matthew. She and Brian also adopted five kids — Jessica, Michael, Brandon, Brianna, and Abigail — together. Sadly, the star’s son Michael passed away at age 18 in February 2010.

In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Marie revealed how music helped her grieve Michael’s tragic passing. “With my son, to get through that, I sang — and a lot of people judged me for going back to work so quickly,” she said. “But I have seven other children who needed to keep living and that was how I processed my pain. Music is a powerful thing. When you stop loving music, you die. Music has always been there for me, through the highs and the lows.”

The only thing Marie adores more than being a mom is being a “glamma.” Donny Osmond‘s sister is a grandmother to her son Stephen’s three kids, Stephen Jr., 5, Christian, 3, and Maxwell, 8 months, her daughter Rachael’s daughter, Rocket Jade, and Brianna’s newborn child, Maude Bailey-Moon Schwep.
“Out of all the awards and accolades that I have been blessed with throughout my life, nothing comes close in comparison with the blessings I receive from being a mother to my eight children and grandma-of-three,” Marie told Closer Weekly before welcoming her fifth grandchild.
