McDonald’s Is Giving Away Free Fries For The Rest Of 2018, But Only If You Know To Do This

Everybody loves the McDonald’s fries! We simply love everything that McDonald’s produce this is why it is considered as one of the most successful fast food chain in the United States. Not the healthiest option but we have to admit, McDonald’s is a staple in most American diets. If you need a ‘go-to’ dinner, they have burgers for you and their fries are loved by both young and old. Recently, McDonald’s released a deal that nobody would ever be able to refuse, FREE FRIES!

According to McDonald’s, starting this month they are giving away free medium-sized french fries. This will be every Friday and would go on for the rest of the year. Might sound like a “too good to be true” offer but this is for real! For you to get this free medium-sized french fries, you have to download the McDonald’s mobile app and register for a free account. As easy as that! Download the mobile app and get more freebies. The mobile app features even more deals like a free medium soft drink with a $1 purchase or maybe a free hashbrown when you buy any breakfast sandwich.

All you have to do is purchase any menu item that costs at least $1 and you can get your favorite crispy fries. When customers order through the mobile app, McDonald’s would be able to save time and labor because these orders will go directly to their kitchen. An employee will no more need to take an order at the counter or through the McDonald’s drive-through window. And because of this, customers will not wait for their turn in line anymore. A win-win situation for McDonald’s and their customers.

McDonald’s And Its Future Changes

Free fries is not the only surprise that McDonald’s has prepared for you. Shifting of burgers with ‘certified’ sustainable beef will happen in Canada restaurants within the next 12 months. The Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB) has their standards and fast food chains in Canada would soon be able to meet these strict standards. This would include everything that is associated with making sure that these animals are fed properly and they have access to drinking water. They should also experience minimal stress and pain.

People nowadays are becoming more inquisitive about the food that they are eating. According to Cherie Copithorne-Barnes, a rancher and chairwoman of CRSB, “…they want to know it was produced in a socially responsible, economically viable and environmentally sound manner.” McDonald’s will start this shift with their very popular McDonald’s Angus burgers and they have over 20 million burgers pledged that will follow these regulations by the end of 2018. The CRSB are continuously striving to make these improvements and it is important for them to recognize certain achievements that are made along the way.

Critics say that the free french fries might be a tactic for McDonald’s to promote their mobile application. Come to think of it, when people start using the mobile application for ordering meals at McDonald’s, everything will be easier not only for the business but also for the customers. There’s no more need to wait in line since you can now order digitally. The free french fries from McDonald’s started July 13 while celebrating the National French Fry Day. This promotion is ongoing and available every Friday until December 30.
