Whoever said the best thing about the festive season was the gift of giving hadn't experienced the thrill of a Black Friday saving. Sometimes it's good to receive, y'know?
Well, fortunately, a job-lot of retailers and tech companies are starting off their Black Friday deals early, with mobile network O2 leading the charge with huge savings on the likes of the iPhone XR, iPad Pro 12.9 and the Samsung Galaxy S10.
In the name of trumping the competition, O2 is now offering the iPhone XR (64GB) at an upfront cost of £39.99, with data plans starting at just under £30 a month. With the total cost of the device dropping from £629 to £329, that's an impressive £300 saving.
The iPad Pro 12.9 is now also available for £30 a month with a one-off payment of £20. This deal will save you a total of £400 when you add up the overall plan discount and the £6 a month saving on the 48-month 1GB Airtime Plan.
It's not just Apple – O2 is also offering huge discounts on Samsung, with the S10 (128GB) now reduced from £791 to £491 for £40 a month and an upfront cost of £30. If you'd prefer the Galaxy S10 5G model, O2 is offering a £200 saving, reducing it from £989 to £789.
If you're in the market for a new Samsung tablet, there's the Galaxy Tab S6 to consider. Thanks to the whims of Black Friday price-slashing, you can now make a saving of (up to) £350 with O2's latest device plan deal, knocking the total cost down from £801.65 to £559.65.
There are also tempting offers available on the Huawei P30 Pro – on offer for £256.50, a £300 saving – and the Sony Xperia 1, which will set you back £350 rather than £606.
If you already have a device you're attached to, O2 is also getting its SIM-only deals into the Black Friday spirit, with an 18-month contract offering 100GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts for just £20 a month. For a fiver less, you can get 10GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts instead.
The best Black Friday mobile phone deals for 2019
Much like NOW TV's Black Friday deals, O2's phone and device offers will end on December 4, so you've got another two weeks to get your hands on them before they're gone. The network's SIM-only deals will be running until December 22.
