Student's Surprise When Looking Through Photos After Losing Phone On Night Out

A woman who lost her mobile while on a night out was in for a surprise when she opened her pictures after being reunited with her phone.

Elle-Rose Hoskins, 21, had been in Prohibition in Swansea, Wales with her classmates and lecturers on a Friday night.

The student, who studies classics at Swansea University, was already on her way home when she realised her phone was missing.

Wales Online reports that she had already left the city centre at this point but rushed back when she realised her phone was no longer with her.

Elle-Rose said: "I was quite intoxicated by the end of the night.

"I jumped in a taxi and by the time I realised I'd lost my phone, I was on my way home.

"I went back to the Prohibition bar, and someone had handed my phone in to reception.

"I was so pleased, it would have been a shame to not get it back."

It was the next day when she saw some pictures she didn't recognise.

She said: "I noticed that there were some pictures in there that the men who had found my phone had taken.

"I have my partner's phone number on the front of my phone so if it gets lost they can call that, and you can see from the pictures they're desperately trying to enter the number but can't manage to do it.

"I was gone for about an hour, so it was really lovely of them to try all ways of getting hold of me, and I'm so grateful they turned it in."

She posted some of the photos on Facebook to try to find out who the men were, so she could thank them for making sure she could be reunited with her phone.

The post reads: "To these two legends who helped reunite me with my phone last night, thank you so much, and I found these this morning, looks like you had a cracking night!"

She added: "I've put the pictures up on Facebook to try and find them, because I'd really like to thank them.

"It was funny to see their reactions to the flash, I hope they come forward, because they did a really lovely thing."
