Summer Tablescape

I wanted a fresh, warm look for my dinning room table. I went with a lemon theme. A few projects came out of this lemon theme.

Summer Tablescape

I found these beautiful lemon dishes. I started with a yellow tablecloth and some wicker placemates.

I had some yellow silk roses lying around the house. I used my wooden napkin rings and some white linen napkins. I stick the stems on the silk roses in the opening of the napkin ring to play off the color of the lemons. I love their warm buttery color.

Lemon Topiary and 3 tier server

I had a plain green topiary which I hot glued some faux lemons to and I used the extra lemon plates to create this three tier server shown next to the topiary. I used clear candlesticks to build up the layers. I used E600 to adhere them together.

Lemon Cake stand

I also made this cake stand by gluing a dinner plate on top of a bowl with E600 glue.

Lemon Pillow Covers

This beautiful print was not only on the dishes but on the fabric placemats that I bought so I bought extra ones so I could cut them open and make pillow covers for my throw pillows.

I use these lemon placemats to make pillow covers for my rocker. They were easy to make I cut them open along the end and slid my pillow inside and hot glued the edge back shut. I love them.

Here they are on my rocker. I even took one of my Boyd's bears and added a yellow ribbon around his neck and a small yellow flower I placed in his hand.

My rooster picture for my kitchen

I used another lemon placemat. I cut the material to fit the frame and hot glue the metal rooster to the glass. Easy to do. I even looks pretty minus the rooster on the front but I prefer the rooster attached to it because it looks country. I love country decor.
