We have actually introduced most of the domestic TV brands on sale before, including some products that look like foreign brands but are actually fake foreign devils. But recently and some readers and users to talk about the purchase of television, there are still some friends do not know much about the brand of television, or the status of these brands in the country is not very clear. In fact, this is quite understandable, because the whole TV industry has changed quite a lot in the past two years, plus some media and the so-called big V did not understand, it is easy to cause misunderstanding of users.
So now we will give you a detailed explanation of the current domestic major seemingly foreign brands of TVs, they are not considered overseas brands, or each brand in the end what we are not clear about the inside. I believe that after reading this, you will have a clear understanding of the current market of overseas brands of television.
Sony Samsung LG, the three pure overseas pedigree of the Royal Family
The first is the three brands with the greatest domestic popularity, including Sony, Samsung and LG, these three are no problem, are pure overseas brands, including research and development, technology is the original. These three will be released every year in the global TV new products, and the domestic will also be introduced, although some TVs are produced in domestic factories, and even the panel will also use the ADS panel of Jingdong, or Huaxing photoelectric VA panel, but still authentic kind of brand.
Sony, Samsung and LG in the domestic sales of licensed TVs, and compared to overseas versions, in addition to the system will be modified according to the Chinese market, other parts and overseas versions are basically the same, including chips, panels, technology, configuration, etc.. So if you want to buy overseas brands of TVs, then these three products are not a big problem to buy with eyes closed.
Slightly to say that Samsung, Samsung will have some low-end models in the country, these low-end models will not even be sold overseas, but this is not considered a domestic manufacturer label production, still Samsung's own R & D production, the full set should be done in the country. And Sony and LG TV, basic overseas and domestic models are synchronized, there is no problem. In general, the purchase of these three TVs, it is best to buy more than the mid-range products, low-end products may as well buy domestic brands. Samsung recommends buying models above the 7 series, Sony recommends buying models above 8500, while LG ...... direct purchase of OLED is the easiest.
Pioneer and Sanyo, the fake foreign brands divided by domestic e-commerce
Pioneer and Sanyo we have said before, although these two brands are Japanese, but are not operating directly in the country, Sanyo has even canceled the TV business, the brand directly authorized to different regions of the manufacturer. So these two brands in the country, in fact, are considered fake foreign brands.
Pioneer in the domestic TV business, has been sold to Suning, simply put, Suning find a TV manufacturer OEM, directly affixed to the Pioneer brand on the line; and Sanyo brand, in the country was sold to Gome, is also Gome to find a domestic TV manufacturer OEM, and then affixed to the Sanyo brand. So these two brands of TV sets can actually only be seen in Suning and Gome's stores, usually we see less.
As for whether you can buy, we certainly recommend that it is discouraged, because in fact the two brands of TV prices are very cheap, it is clear that Gomez and Suning can not concentrate on the operation, so are the domestic low-end products directly labeled sales, technology or, or picture quality, is indeed quite a headache. If the brand to buy completely meaningless, if the price to consider, the two brands of television is not much advantage, after all, there are domestic Xiaomi such as killing the price. So simple, whether in the e-commerce or stores, see the two brands of TVs directly avoid the line.
Panasonic TVs? Now maybe it should be called TCL TV
Panasonic is relatively more complicated, first of all, Panasonic itself now has a TV business, this can be sure, but Panasonic as a Japanese manufacturer, designed in Japan is not sold in the domestic TV, only in Europe and Japan's domestic market. So the domestic Panasonic TV, in addition to the brand, in fact, and Panasonic is nothing to do.
Previously, when Panasonic retreated from the domestic TV market, it was not a complete withdrawal, and occasionally some high-end Japanese models, introduced to the domestic sales. But with the continued decline of Panasonic's TV business, Panasonic has little interest in the domestic market. So before we see the domestic Panasonic TVs, most of them are produced by TCL, and then TCL put on the Panasonic brand to sell. And now it is more direct, Panasonic in Europe and Japan outside the TV, almost all to TCL OEM, especially low-end products, Panasonic itself is not involved in the design, TCL production label can be.
So the current domestic Panasonic TVs, considered a fake foreign brand, and Japan's Panasonic does not have much to do with it. In fact, Panasonic's own design OLED and LCD TVs, overseas enjoy a very high reputation, picture quality, technology in the world are considered leading, but sales are not so good, the price is also on the high side. Of course Panasonic's own design TVs, domestic sales, and domestic Panasonic TVs, in fact, are made by TCL, and there is not much competitiveness, are low-end products. So if you can't buy a Japanese Panasonic TV, we do not recommend that you buy a domestic Panasonic TV.
Toshiba acquired by Hisense, really not a fake foreign brand
Toshiba also withdrew from the domestic market before, as did Panasonic, and domestic Toshiba TVs are actually produced by domestic TV manufacturers and sold under a label ...... en or TCL. However, this situation has completely changed after Hisense acquired the Toshiba TV business, and it can be said that the domestic Toshiba TVs are now pure Japanese flavors.
In the past few years, Toshiba's Japanese-designed TV sets were only sold in Japan, so overseas Toshiba TVs were actually designed and produced and sold by domestic TV manufacturers, which gave Toshiba some brand licensing fees every year anyway. But after Hisense acquired Toshiba, reintroduced Toshiba's Japan-designed TVs into the country and shared sales channels with Hisense. So now the domestic two years of new Toshiba TV, in fact, in the technology, specifications part, has not much difference with the Japanese Toshiba, so see Hisense or do a good thing, at least let domestic users can buy Toshiba's high-end products.
The current Toshiba TV domestic models, basically synchronized with the Japanese version launched, in picture quality, technology in all aspects actually have a very good performance, after all, Toshiba Japan's technical ability or trustworthy. However, there are still some differences between the Japanese version and the domestic version, the Japanese version of Toshiba TV using the native Android system, the domestic version uses Hisense's magic Android system, the domestic version is not cheap, and there are really a lot of ads ...... domestic Toshiba TV is now considered a pure foreign brand, and even Hisense's TVs overseas, are directly taken Toshiba design TV, re-labeled a brand sales. Buy Toshiba TV can consider more OLED version, LCD with BOE ADS panel. In addition, there is a Japanese version of Toshiba TV factory goods, from the Dalian factory, the price is very cheap, is a good choice.
Philips TVs, still with Dutch roots
Philips is also a relatively special existence, on the one hand, its business in display equipment, has been sold to AOC, that is, TPV; on the other hand, the original European design team still retains, and in the high-end TV quite successful. So from this aspect, the Philips TV part is considered a Chinese product, the design team is considered under TPV, and the production base is in China; but at the same time its technology, design part is actually responsible for the original European team, plus the Philips brand, so that Philips TV at least still preserves the past European heritage, and TPV in addition to Philips, the domestic operation of other TV brands. If you look at it this way, Philips TV can be treated as a successful hybrid at least for now.
What is more interesting is that Philips high-end TV part, not global sales, but in Europe, mainland China and Taiwan, China and other places, like North America Philips high-end TVs are not sold. And Philips high-end TVs are quite sharp in technology, and Sony, Samsung and other manufacturers, have their own picture quality chip, specifications are also very complete, OLED and Mini LED TVs are also very complete, of course, the price is also relatively high, in the European region, Philips high-end TVs are comparable to Sony.
The domestic Philips TV situation is also interesting, low-end TVs and high-end TVs are available, the high-end part is the product designed by the European team, the low-end part should be the local design and production of TPV, plus some Philips TV features (such as the flow of light). High-end TVs are not cheap, and again there are product lines such as OLED and Mini LED, while low-end TVs are quite general. For Philips TVs, our recommendation is to buy the high-end products directly, and disregard the other products. In addition, because it is a domestic TPV factory production, so there are often factory goods outflow, last year's 6 series OLED TV, are worth getting. At least in the high-end products, Philips TV is still a trustworthy foreign brand.
Hard to create a brilliant Sharp, continued to wilt after the acquisition by Hon Hai
We actually have mixed feelings about the Sharp brand. Just like Toshiba sold all of its TV business to Hisense, Sharp's TV business is now sold to Hon Hai, which is actually Foxconn. For this kind of brand that the whole TV business is sold, its overseas design team is still retained and the brand continues, not simply OEM labeling, so we actually do not reject it. But Sharp's domestic sales of TVs, in fact, there are major differences with the local Japanese, its business model instead more inclined to Panasonic.
At present, the domestic Sharp TV, basically there is no bright spot, and Japan's Sharp TV although are a backstage boss, but the domestic products are obviously in technology, picture quality and design, and Japan's Sharp TV is very different. Domestic Sharp TVs are not only technologically backward and can't keep up with the current form of TV development, but also the gap between the grade and other foreign brands is too big. So from our point of view, at least in the domestic operation of Sharp TV, more or less a fake foreign brand, if there is no Japanese Sharp TV design and technology, then how meaningful is such a TV for the user?
Japan Sharp has OLED TV product line, there are high-end 8K/4K LCD TV, but in the domestic these models are all no, domestic Sharp TV almost all low-end products, in addition to the size is large enough, the price is okay, see what technology and picture quality highlights. Almost in addition to a brand, and ordinary domestic low-end TV is not much different. So if you want high quality products, domestic Sharp no one can play; if it is to be cheap, then buy Xiaomi, Hisense cheap TV does not smell good?
Write at the end
Basically domestic these past foreign brand TVs, we'll make it more clear. The reason why there will be all kinds of confusion and misunderstanding, mainly or major overseas brands in the past few years to withdraw from the Chinese market, or their own brand licensing to a manufacturer, so the user is not clear. In addition, coupled with the acquisition and merger of various TV brands in the past two years more things, also let the user have some confusion about the situation.
For users, to see a TV is a true foreign brand or a fake foreign brand, the main thing is to see the TV in technology and specifications, is not similar to these brands locally and internationally designed and sold products, such as Samsung, LG, Sony, including now Toshiba and Philips, in fact, are considered qualified foreign brands; like Sanyo, Pioneer, Panasonic and even Sharp, can be seen as hanging sheep's head to sell dog meat. If you do not experience the advantages of overseas brand TVs in technology and picture quality, then we do not feel the need to buy at all, after all, low-end TVs currently have more domestic options.
