Taste of the Ozarks: Try this DIY electrolyte drink

DIY Electrolyte Water to keep you hydrated this summer

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon and/or lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/2 tsp honey

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. Shake well. Serve chilled or over ice.You can store the drink in your refrigerator for up to a week. The Himalayan pink salt helps your body stay hydrated more efficiently. It contains 84 trace minerals.
