Leggings have one job and one job only: to be flattering. Oh, and also to be very comfortable.
These are the basic tenets of stretchy legwear. It’s how it’s always been, and how it always will be.
But you and I both know that there are *so many* leggings on the market that do neither. Until now: I just discovered the MOST flattering pair on the planet, that you will want to live in as soon as you try them: Spanx Faux Leather Leggings!
I recently received a pair to review. Now, mind you, I’m a healthy size ten with a decent amount of cellulite, so I’ve certainly had my unsuccessful attempts at wearing leggings. Especially too-cheap pairs that show every dimple and roll. Some are even see-through. Because of these past experiences I wasn’t expecting much, and especially not to find my new favorite going-out pants.
As soon as I pulled on the leggings, I was feeling them. Or, rather, I was feeling myself. The leggings have a Power Waistband, which is a fancy way of saying that shape your tummy and behind. They’re full coverage so you have absolutely no muffin top or spillover. They’re also made without a center seam, which means no more camel toe (for those of us who are prone to one–hear that, Khloe Kardashian??).
All of this adds up to a pair of leggings that makes you look like you’ve had some sort of plastic surgery recently. More specifically, a butt lift.
And a mere mortal like myself isn’t the only one who’s such a big fan: Hailee Steinfeld, Nina Dobrev, Erin Andrews, Jennifer Hudson, Donatella Versace and more are all big fans of the stylish leggings:
