Unboxing
In addition to base stations and robots. In terms of consumables, there are two brushes, two mopping cloths, a roller brush, and a filter, a box of scented cleaner, that's the main thing.
Base stations
The base station has two water tanks, one clear water tank and one sewage tank.
The back is the power cord, if the line is too long, there are storage places.
The bottom part is where the robot automatically washes the mop. Water and dirt will also be automatically pumped inside the sewage tank. This tray below can be taken out and taken apart for cleaning.
There is a water injection port inside, and when it is filled with water, it will automatically reach inside the water injection port on the robot.
Robotics
Two brushes at the bottom, two mopping cloths, in the middle is a roller brush, there are also some sensors at the bottom (carpet recognition sensor, anti-fall sensor).
The robot has sensors on the front and radar on the top. Lift the flap, inside is the dust box and water tank.
First time use (pairing)
The first time you use it, you need to install the U.S. Mercure App, then scan the QR code on the robot, and the robot will start scanning the room. After the scan is completed, you will be able to see the floor plan.
Robot Functionality
After the scanning is completed, it will automatically divide different rooms, and you can set different rooms and areas manually by yourself. You can also set up your own no-go areas so that the robot will automatically avoid these areas.
Sweep mode
There are a total of 4 sweeping modes, sweeping and mopping, sweeping only, mopping only, and sweeping first and then mopping.
Also, you can set the suction power of the robot when sweeping the floor and the humidity of the mopping cloth when mopping.
And the cleaning mode of the wipe, we can also set, there are three.
Other Functions
In the APP, we can also see the robot's cleaning records, set up cleaning appointments, and also learn about the use of each consumable to facilitate timely replacement.
Start cleaning
The most important garbage on my home floor is dust, hair, clothing falling small hair, some accidentally dropped food scraps, and then some small particles of unknown origin, small garbage. All can be easily cleaned up.
The garbage on the mats in your home can be cleaned up if it is on the surface, but naturally it cannot be cleaned up if it is stuck in the mat lint.
Under the sofa Under the bed
Usually cleaning, rarely will clean the dust under the sofa, under the bed, but there are robots will be much more convenient.
Mopping part
After sweeping the floor, there may be some traces of dust, water stains and so on. Basically, they can be mopped up. The water stains in the bathroom doorway may be a little more, so if I mop it once, I may not be able to get rid of it, so I need to set it to mop this area separately one more time.
Obstacles
The main obstacles in the home are the various table and bed legs of different thicknesses, which can be recognized by the robot and can also be easily cleaned up to the garbage around the table and bed legs.
There are some lines under the computer desk that I did not store, and this place is sometimes tangled in the lines if the robot comes over. So I set it so that the robot doesn't clean this small area.
Overall usage experience
This is my first contact with the use of sweeping and mopping robot, after using it will feel really can not go back, after all, you can indeed clean the house and mop the floor again. Especially the TV cabinet, sofa, under the bed, and the corners of the house, can be cleaned, I myself only need to add some water every once in a while, pour out the sewage, and then clean the robot's brushes can be. In addition, every time I ask the robot to clean, I will check the room to see if there are any obstacles that will block the robot, and I will also adjust the placement between the tables and chairs appropriately, so that the robot can't get under the table.
